Ariel Newton, PMHNP-BC

Ariel is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner that has been practicing in the greater Nashville area for the last year and a half. She attained her Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, specializing in Psychiatry. She is currently licensed in the state of Tennessee as both a Registered Nurse and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with the ability to prescribe. She has worked in a variety of settings, such as Community Mental Health and in substance use treatment centers. Throughout her experiences, she has treated a wide range of mental illnesses, including mood disorders, anxiety disorder, thought disorders, addiction, trauma, behavioral problems, and attention deficit disorders. Ariel seeks to provide thorough and compassionate care to individuals that have been struggling with mental illness, whether it has been a lifelong battle or a short term episode. She is passionate about helping others attain their highest quality of life, and working towards improving their mental health.
