Taylor Berry, PMHNP-BC

Taylor Berry is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with prescribing privileges in Tennessee and Florida. He began his career in healthcare as a Corpsman in the US Navy where he spent the majority of his time working in labor and delivery. After successfully nursing his first premature infant back to health for two weeks and handing him to his mom for the first time while tears streamed down her face, he knew he had found his calling. After leaving the Navy, he attended Belmont University where he earned his BSN in Nursing. He began his nursing career in mental health and started travel nursing not long after. He attended the University of South Alabama where he earned his MSN as a Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. He has experience working with patients of all ages ranging from 6 years old and up. As a veteran he has a heart for clients struggling with PTSD, along with children with autism. He has experience with all diagnoses and has worked in many arenas including inpatient, outpatient, PHP/IOP, and residential treatment. He has a deep rooted passion to reach the unreached, and to help break the stigma of mental health while delivering much needed care to an underserved population. In his free time he enjoys renovating houses, being the best dog dad to his Aussiedoodle, hiking, traveling, and playing disc golf.
