Whitney Wyatt, LCSW

Whitney Wyatt received a Masters of Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Whitney practiced therapy for 7 years before deciding to go back to school for a PhD in Counseling Psychology. In her years of practice, Whitney worked in community mental health offering counseling services to children, teens, and families in rural North Georgia. She delivered therapeutic services to teens in group homes as well including individual, and group therapy. Whitney also co-facilitated an IOP group for teens with substance abuse issues. After a stretch in community mental health, Whitney transitioned to providing individual and couples therapy at Mercer University’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). Whitney also provided assessment services for children in rural Middle Georgia including Behavioral Health Assessments, Trauma Assessments, and Diagnostic Assessments. Whitney is now a doctoral student at Tennessee State University.
